This is an autobiographical story about the time I married my boyfriend on a whim so I could join him on a long nautical adventure. It’s not a seafaring tale, but one about what comes after, the consequences of this rash decision. When we returned from our voyage reservations developed about the validity of our new roles. There is a divorce, then I'm alone. In a hermitage. On an island.
